At DPR, we not only provide services throughout the Yorkshire region but also to nearby counties. Following a recent incident involving a truck reversing into the projecting roof of a train station in Lancashire, DPR were contacted to repair the damage.

After assessing the damage, the DPR team discovered that the roof’s beams were not only hundreds of years old but obsolete in a timber yard and therefore contacted a local carpenter to remake these beams to the same style exactly so that the repair work could be carried out. DPR have years of experience working with local carpenters, tradesmen, and suppliers which at times is a requirement for producing bespoke solutions.

Whilst carrying out this work, the team operated quickly and accurately with minimal disruption to the train station to ensure the roof was intact and to prevent any leaks or harm to the inside of the building. As this structure was very old and the area is used by the public, it was also important to carry out the work to the highest standards of health and safety.

At DPR we understand that a damaged roof can affect the day to day running of a business which is why our professional engineers aim to deliver all services efficiently to reduce the impact of the damage. As well as making customer service a priority, we aim to reduce the impact by providing a 24-hour emergency service for any roofing emergencies.
