Roofs Pudsey

DPR have recently undertaken a major roof repair project at Low Town, Pudsey in Leeds. In the first instance DPR erected the access equipment in order to complete the roofing project safely.

The first part of the project was to cut all the pointing from the chimney stack, and clean the brickwork down with fresh water. The next stage involved re-pointing the chimney, restoring its original state.

DPRs roofing engineers then raked out all

loose and defective mortar flaunching around the flashings area which could cause water leakage - these were also repointed. The final part of the repair was the re-flaunching of the chimney to ensure water tightness, using a mortar bed.
