    1. Erected roofer access equipment: tower scaffold, ladder systems & powered boom
    2. Hacked off of loose and defective render to front and rear elevations of chimney stack back to solid render
    3. Fitted galvanised steel angle beads
    4. Roughed out and built up hacked off sections of render
    5. Fitted our specialist fibre matting and applied pva bonding solution
    6. Applied a render finish coat to a smooth finish
    7. Undercoated and painted with masonry paint
    8. Removal of any resultant rubble from site

    Description:

    1. Installation of felt roof
      • a. Erection of access equipment and scaffolding
      • b. Stripped back and disposed of all felt coverings
      • c. Felted in high performance / fibre glass based polyester base felts and polyester green mineral edgings
      • d. Applied solar reflective compound to completed base felts. This was essential in keeping the heat from causing damage
      • e. Felt laid by Ruberoid type torch on system
      • f. Replacement of roof decking / boarding sheets
      • g. Removed all resultant rubble from above works
    2. Rear dormer cladding
      • a. Existing timber cladding, underfelt and timber batons removed and disposed of
      • b. Fitted quality pre-treated batons, 40mm Kingspan insulation, and new breathable roofing felt
      • c. Re-cladded in quality dark brown PVC interlocking board.
    3. Replacement of Fascia boards
      • a. Removed fascia board to rear elevation dormer
      • b. Replaced with quality white PVC fascia board
      • c. Fitted quality white PVC cover board and soffits to side elevation in white pvc
    4. Replacement of rainwater guttering
      • a. Removed and disposed existing rear elevation gutter to dormer, side elevation gutter and rear elevation fall pipes (these were asbestos and required specialist removal and disposal)
      • b. Replaced with quality black PVC gutter and fall pipes, plus associated fittings
    5. Installation of two Velux windows to rear elevation roof
      • a. Supplied and fitted two Velux windows to customer specification to rear elevation roof section
      • b. Internal plasterboards / beads and plasterwork made good

    Location: Salisbury Street, Calverley, near Leeds

    Description:

    1. Erected roof safety access equipment
    2. Removed damaged slates which could cause leakage and replaced with good quality s/h slates using code 4 lead straps and galvanised fixings
    3. Refixed dislodged slates using code 4 lead straps and galvanised fixings
    4. Refitted and renewed lead flashings which had become loose and were sitting in the front gutter
    5. Removed all resultant rubble from above works and dispose of
